The Chamber of the Hellenic Competition Commission unanimously cleared, pursuant to Article 8(3) of the Greek Competition Act 3959/2011, the concentration for which notice was given on 30/10/2018, which concerns the acquisition of sole control over AIG HELLAS S.A. by the AIG conglomerate. The Chamber of the Commission decided that the concentration, which concerns, primarily, the insurance market, does not raise any doubts as to its compatibility with merger control rules in the relevant market, even though it falls within the scope of Article 6(1) of the Greek Competition Act 3959/2011. |
