Clearance decision on the notified concentration under ref. no. 11580/21.12.2022, pursuant to articles 5-10 of Law 3959/2011, concerning the acquisition of sole control by the company “Blantyre Capital Limited” over the company “ATTICA HOLDINGS S.A.”, within the meaning of Article 5 (2) (b) of Law 3959/2011, following the Statement of Objections by the Commissioner-Rapporteur I. Stefatos.

Operative part of the Decision

The Hellenic Competition Commission, in Chamber sitting,  unanimously approved the notified concentration, in accordance with Article 8 (3) of Law 3959/2011, considering that, albeit falling within the scope of paragraph 1 of Article 6 of Law 3959/2011, it does not raise serious concerns as to its compatibility with competition rules in the individual markets concerned thereby.

According to the Decision, the proposed transaction will not bring about any change in the competitive conditions, either horizontally or vertically, nor any changes in the structure of the relevant markets concerned. Therefore, it will not affect the level of competition or lead to its restriction.
