The Plenary Session of the Hellenic Competition Commission on October 31, 2019, unanimously decided to approve the proposed merger, in accordance with article 8 par. 6 of L. 3959/2011, which concerns the acquisition of joint control over the Greek and Cypriot online gaming activities of the company under the name “GML Interactive Limited”, by the company "Organization of Predictive Games Football SA" (OPAP SA) and the companies "Deep Investments Ltd" and "Padian Ltd".

Specifically, the Hellenic Competition Commission decided, according to article 8 of Law 3959/2011, that the notified concentration, while it falls within the scope of paragraph 1 of article 6 of law 3959/2011, it does not raise serious doubts regarding its ability to significantly restrict competition in the relevant markets concerned.
