The Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC) will hold a conference on “Consumers and Competition Law: New Perspectives” on Monday, March 9, 2020, from 14:00 to 18:00, on the 1st floor of its building at 1A Kotsika Street. The Conference is part of a series of actions of the HCC,in order to strengthen the participation of consumer associations in the implementation of free competition law.
In this context, the HCC, continuing its cooperation with the Consumer Associations with which it has signed Memoranda of Cooperation, organizes a conference looking forward to strengthening their role and their training in competition issues, as it appreciates the important role of consumer associations in a healthy competitive market.

The conference will cover issues related to both public and private application of free competition law (see attached conference program).
In addition, the Hellenic Competition Commission will organise on June, 2 & 3, 2020, an International Seminar on Training of Consumer Associations, in cooperation with the European Consumers Organization (BEUC) and the participation of representatives of consumer associations from other Member States.
