The Hellenic Competition Commission (HCC), in the context of its actions and its debuting participation in the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair (87th TIF), organized, on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 16.00, an online event (webinar) on "Inflation, Greedflation and Competition Law" with the aim of promoting and enhancing competition.

The aim of the webinar was to bring together Competition Authorities, Academics from the European Union, Consumer Representatives, and Businesses, to analyze the issue of inflation, greedflation and competition law, and what competition authorities can do with regard to this phenomenon, since competition law must ultimately serve consumers’ interests. The event was broadcast live from the HCC’s booth at the 87th Thessaloniki International Fair and open to the public and accessible via the HCC‘s website.
