By its Decision no. 867/2024, the Hellenic Competition Commission, in Plenary sitting, unanimously approved the proposed concentration concerning the acquisition of sole control by the company “MYTILINEOS CONSTRUCTION SINGLE MEMBER SOCIÉTÉ ANONYME” (METKA ATE) of sole control over “M.T. TECHNICAL, COMMERCIAL, TOURIST, QUARRY AND INDUSTRIAL REAL ESTATE COMPANY SOCIETE ANONYME (M.T. ATE), pursuant to Article 8 (3) of Law 3959/2011.

By its decision, the HCC concluded that the above concentration, which concerns the construction sector and other markets, such as, the waste management service market, the supply of waste management equipment and consumables and the metal construction market, although falling within the scope of Article 6 (1) of the Greek Competition Act, does not raise serious concerns as to its compatibility with competition rules in the individual markets concerned.
